Delivery Lead
With close to 2,300 employees, we are one of the largest tech consulting companies in the Nordics. To put it simply, we help people create value in the complex landscape of digital transformation.
Permanent position at Twoday | Copenhagen
Delivery Lead
Have you taken overall responsibility for complex IT deliveries as an external supplier to Danish public-sector customers? Do you thrive on bringing together multiple teams and suppliers, managing contractual commitments and ensuring successful delivery?
Twoday is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to take a central role in a large-scale, business-critical public-sector IT programme.
About Twoday
Twoday is a leading digital transformation partner in Northern Europe with a global presence. With approximately 3,000 specialists, we help public and private organisations deliver digital solutions that create lasting value. Our expertise spans software engineering, Data & AI, cloud platforms, digital experiences and business applications.
You will join Twoday as a permanent employee, initially working onsite with a public-sector customer in Copenhagen.
The role
As Delivery Lead, you will take overall responsibility for Twoday's contractual and operational delivery commitments within a complex, multi-supplier software development environment.
You will be the customer's primary day-to-day contact, ensuring that responsibilities are clear, risks and dependencies are managed, and delivery commitments are met.
The delivery will involve approximately 22 Twoday consultants working alongside the customer's teams and other IT suppliers. You will coordinate our contribution across software development, architecture, DevOps and testing, ensuring effective collaboration and shared delivery objectives.
A key part of the assignment will be the transition from the incumbent supplier, including knowledge transfer, onboarding, risk management and establishing a stable delivery organisation.
Your focus will be delivery leadership rather than hands-on technical work, but you must understand software development environments and be comfortable collaborating with technical specialists.
Your responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for contractual commitments, delivery quality and operational performance
Act as the primary contact for the customer and manage stakeholder relationships
Coordinate consultants, teams and dependencies across multiple suppliers
Manage planning, staffing, risks, escalations and delivery reporting
Lead the transition from the incumbent supplier and ensure operational readiness
Participate in steering committees and other governance forums
Establish effective collaboration, clear ownership and continuous improvement
What we are looking for
Proven overall delivery responsibility as an external IT supplier to a Danish public-sector customer, including contractual accountability
Solid experience managing complex software development deliveries across multiple teams
Experience with multi-supplier collaboration, customer management and delivery governance
Strong understanding of agile software development and delivery processes
Experience managing risks, resources, dependencies and escalations
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in spoken and written Danish and professional proficiency in English
Willingness to work full-time onsite in Copenhagen
Experience with technical transitions, business-critical systems and public-sector software development contracts will be particularly valuable.
Who you are
You are a pragmatic and accountable leader who creates structure, builds trust and brings people together across organisational boundaries.
You are comfortable managing complex customer relationships, navigating competing priorities and addressing delivery challenges constructively. You know how to maintain momentum without unnecessary bureaucracy and how to create the conditions for technical teams to succeed.
What you can expect from Twoday
You will become part of a collaborative community of experienced consultants and technology specialists, with opportunities for professional development and future customer assignments.
At Twoday, you will help deliver important public-sector solutions while working alongside colleagues who value knowledge sharing, quality and strong customer relationships.
Interested?
Please submit your CV and briefly describe your experience with overall delivery responsibility for public-sector customers, including your contractual accountability.
We look forward to hearing from you.
