Business Development Representative – Digital Identity Management
Help us build the pipeline for Digital Identity Management across the Nordics
At twoday, our Digital Identity Management team helps organisations create secure, compliant and efficient digital workflows across the Nordics.
Our platform brings together solutions for digital signing, authentication, dynamic forms, Know Your Customer processes, secure digital mail and related trust services. We help organisations reduce manual work, meet regulatory requirements and create better digital experiences for customers, citizens, partners and employees.
We are now looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to help us build and scale our commercial engine across the Nordic market.
This is a new role in our Copenhagen team. You will not be stepping into a fully defined BDR setup. You will help create it. That means building pipeline, shaping outreach, improving messaging, learning from the market and working closely with Sales Managers and Marketing to turn potential into qualified conversations.
You will join a focused Digital Identity Management business unit of around 60 people, within a division of 250 and the wider twoday group of 3,000 colleagues.
The role
As our BDR, your main responsibility will be to create qualified opportunities for our Sales Managers across the full Digital Identity Management platform.
You will identify relevant organisations, understand their needs and create conversations with decision-makers and influencers across the Nordics. Typical target segments include municipalities and public sector organisations, energy and utilities, real estate and housing-related businesses, and other organisations where secure, compliant and efficient digital workflows matter.
Your work will cover outbound prospecting, follow-up on marketing and event leads, partner-driven opportunities and targeted account research. The role is primarily focused on booking qualified meetings, but we expect you to bring commercial judgement, curiosity and enough understanding of the customer’s situation to make every handover valuable.
This is a role for someone who likes structure, momentum and measurable progress — but also understands that good B2B sales in the Nordics is built on relevance, trust and timing.
What you will do
You will build and manage outbound prospecting across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland using phone, email, LinkedIn, events, webinars and partner activities.
You will research target accounts, identify relevant stakeholders and create tailored messaging around themes such as digital identity, trust, compliance, automation, authentication, secure communication and better digital customer experiences.
You will work closely with our Sales Managers to define what a qualified opportunity looks like, book meetings, prepare handovers and continuously improve the quality of the pipeline.
You will collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns, events, content ideas, lead follow-up and market learnings.
You will use HubSpot as your daily CRM and help build the structures, sequences, reporting and workflows that will form the foundation of our BDR function.
You will use AI tools naturally as part of your workflow — for account research, message development, prioritisation, preparation and continuous improvement — always with sound commercial judgement.
You will help us understand what works in each Nordic market and contribute directly to our go-to-market playbook.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience as a BDR, SDR, sales development profile or similar commercial role in B2B SaaS or software.
You know how to create pipeline in a professional B2B environment. You are comfortable initiating conversations with people who may not know us yet, and you understand how to make outreach relevant rather than generic.
You are structured and disciplined in the way you work. You keep your CRM updated, follow through on your activities and know how to turn daily execution into measurable progress.
You are curious enough to understand the customer’s business, the role of regulation and compliance, and why secure digital workflows matter. Experience with digital identity, digital signing, RegTech, fintech, compliance, public sector or regulated industries is a plus, but not a requirement.
You communicate at a high level in English. Danish or another Scandinavian language is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.
You are analytical and data-driven. You use numbers, conversion rates and feedback to improve your work — not just activity volume.
You are likeable, professional and easy to work with. You can build trust internally with Sales and Marketing, and externally with prospects who expect a thoughtful and credible conversation.
You already use AI tools as a natural part of how you work and are curious about how technology can make sales development smarter, faster and more relevant.
You will probably enjoy this role if you
You like building something new, not just following an existing playbook.
You want a commercial role where quality matters as much as quantity.
You are motivated by creating opportunities for others and seeing those opportunities move into real pipeline.
You enjoy working close to Sales Managers, Marketing and leadership.
You are interested in digital identity, trust, compliance and how technology can remove friction from business-critical processes.
You are ambitious about your sales career and see a BDR role as a strong step towards a future Sales Manager, Account Executive or other commercial role.
What we offer
You will get the opportunity to build the BDR function for Digital Identity Management in twoday — with the backing of a large Nordic technology group and the closeness of a focused commercial team.
You will be part of an informal but commercially oriented culture, where we value curiosity, structure, efficiency and good collaboration.
You will work from our Copenhagen office at Sundkaj in Nordhavn, in fantastic surroundings close to the people you will collaborate with every day. This is not a remote or hybrid role, but we offer flexibility and the possibility of working from home when it makes sense.
We offer a strong employment package including pension, health insurance, lunch scheme, equipment, phone and internet. A bonus or commission model will be agreed individually.
You will also be part of a social workplace with Friday bars, parties and employee events — and a team that wants to build something ambitious without losing the Nordic way of working.
