Lead critical data platform transformation initiatives in the public sector
Twoday is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex data platform and digital transformation projects for a major public sector organisation.
You will play a key role in driving large-scale technology initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of business-critical solutions.
This role is ideal for an experienced project manager who thrives in complex environments and has a proven track record of leading data platform migrations, modernisation initiatives and enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
Due to the nature of the assignment, a significant onsite presence with the client in the Greater Copenhagen area will be required.
The role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex technology and data platform initiatives from planning through implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading data platform migration and transformation projects
Managing project scope, timelines, budgets and risks
Coordinating stakeholders across business, technology and external suppliers
Driving planning, execution and governance activities
Facilitating steering committees, workshops and decision-making forums
Ensuring successful transition from legacy platforms to modern data solutions
Managing dependencies across multiple workstreams and teams
Reporting project status, risks and progress to senior stakeholders
Your profile
We are looking for a project manager who combines strong leadership capabilities with experience from large-scale data and technology programmes.
Ideally, you have:
Several years of experience managing complex IT and digital transformation projects
Proven experience leading data platform migration or modernisation initiatives
Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics environments or data management solutions
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior leadership teams
Experience navigating complex organisational environments with multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication skills in Danish and English
The following would be considered an advantage:
Experience from the public sector or highly regulated industries
Experience with data governance, data quality or master data initiatives
Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Experience working within structured governance and programme management frameworks
