Twoday is looking for a Senior Technical Test Automation Engineer with Playwright to join one of our public sector delivery teams. In this role, you will help ensure high quality and stability across complex digital solutions by designing and implementing robust automated testing.
You will work closely with developers, architects, and other specialists in an agile environment where quality is an integrated part of the development process.
Technical Test Automation Engineer (Playwright) – Public Sector
Twoday is looking for a Technical Test Automation Engineer to join one of our public sector delivery teams. In this role, you will help ensure high quality and stability across complex digital solutions by designing and implementing robust automated testing.
You will work closely with developers, architects, and other specialists in an agile environment where quality is an integrated part of the development process.
Your role
As a Technical Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening automated testing across the delivery pipeline.
Your responsibilities may include:
Designing and implementing automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks
Developing and maintaining test automation suites for web applications
Ensuring test coverage across end-to-end, integration, and regression scenarios
Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
Supporting continuous improvement of testing practices and automation strategies
What we are looking for
We are looking for a technically strong profile who enjoys working with automation and improving software quality.
Ideally, you have experience with several of the following:
Test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
Writing and maintaining automated test scripts
Working in agile development teams
Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or X-Ray
Understanding of modern software development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to testing
Experience with modern development stacks and collaboration with engineering teams is considered an advantage.
Fluent Danish is a requirement.
