About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer who can take architectural responsibility for designing, building, and evolving modern cloud platforms in Azure.

This is not a junior or mid-level DevOps role. You will be expected to design production-grade solutions, drive Infrastructure-as-Code practices, and act as a technical sparring partner for both developers and customers.

You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud-native solutions – from design to operation.

You will be responsible for:

Cloud Architecture & Platform Design

• Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure (networking, identity, security, environments).

• Architect and maintain production-grade AKS environments.

• Establish landing zones and environment strategies (dev/test/prod).

• Define guardrails and “golden paths” for development teams.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.

• Drive automation of provisioning, configuration, and compliance.

• Continuously reduce operational toil through scripting and tooling.

CI/CD & DevOps Practices

• Design and maintain secure and robust CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).

• Implement deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).

• Integrate security scanning and quality gates into delivery pipelines.

Reliability & Observability

• Implement monitoring and logging strategies for production environments.

• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

• Drive structural improvements based on postmortems and reliability metrics.

We are looking for someone who

• Has 5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud platform engineering.

• Has strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking and identity.

• Has solid production experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred).

• Has worked with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep).

• Understands cloud-native architecture principles and distributed systems.

• Can explain technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Is fluent in Danish (mandatory).

Experience with MLOps is a plus, but not required.
