Position: Senior Java Developer (Fulltime Employee)
Location: Copenhagen

Are you an experienced developer with a passion for building robust, cloud-based solutions and solving complex integration challenges? We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team and help design, implement, and operate digital solutions that make a real difference.

About the role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering large-scale, mission-critical IT systems. You will work hands-on with modern technologies, collaborate across teams and organizations, and take responsibility for ensuring successful project outcomes. Your influence will extend beyond code – you will be a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders and bridging the gap between technical and business perspectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop cloud-based solutions and operating platforms (DevOps).

- Drive Java development in large and complex IT systems.

- Create and implement solutions that integrate applications, databases, and systems.

- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve integration challenges.

- Monitor, operate, and maintain IT solutions, including software updates and application servers.

- Contribute to agile teams, taking responsibility and ownership of deliverables.

Technologies you must have experience with

• Java
• Spring Boot
• Vue.js
• Azure DevOps (Or similar)
• Kubernetes

What we want to find in the ideal candidate

- A relevant academic degree (Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent) and 6+ years of experience, or alternatively 8+ years of full-time experience in relevant domains.

- Strong background in cross-organizational collaboration and partnership with external stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently while managing project goals, milestones, and resources.

- Solid business understanding, risk assessment skills, and advisory competence within methods and technologies.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Practical experience with agile development and working in agile teams.

Nice-to-have (a strong plus)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with microservices and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with REST API design and integration.
